At Newbridge Family Resource Centre,  play a key role in the Kildare Neurodiversity & Inclusion Initiative—a truly collaborative and place-based approach to supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families. 

Through their involvement, we hosted tailored occupational therapy sessions and training that responded directly to community-identified needs, helping families who were often stuck in limbo due to long waiting lists. 

The initiative not only provided vital access to early intervention supports, but also created a much-needed peer support network for parents, professionals, and young people alike. 

It’s been a powerful reminder of what’s possible when local services work together with compassion, purpose, and a shared vision for inclusion.
