What’s your idea of happiness and what makes you most uneasy? 
Happiness is when my family are healthy, laughing, and the house feels full of life and craziness. Unease creeps in when kindness disappears, when people forget to include others or show empathy. 

What do you fear most? 
Illness, it’s the shadow that follows us all. I try not to dwell on it, but it’s there, whispering reminders to live well. 

 Which person, past or present, do you most relate to and admire? 

Therese Coveney the founder of the ‘Together Academy, redefining what “work” and “belonging” means for people with Down syndrome. Setting up and establishing a café-based social enterprise (Together Café) as part of the training and employment model for young adults with Down Syndrome! A truly inspirational lady!  

 What traits do you most loathe in yourself and others? 
“Loathe” feels a bit too harsh, but I wrestle with overthinking and struggling to delegate. In others, I find rudeness and lack of empathy hard to bear….. 

What’s your most embarrassing moment or regret? 
No regrets 

What’s your most unappealing habit or indulgence? 
Shopping & eating out!  

What do you always carry and what vehicle do you drive? 
My phone, the modern world’s lifeline and I drive a Volvo XC90, because of its safety, and I need the 7 seater….lots of space! 

Where and when have you been happiest? 
Anywhere my children are. Their laughter could light up even the darkest day. 

What do you find depressing or overrated? 
Negativity. And perhaps social media perfection, life’s more beautiful when it’s messy and real. 

How do you unwind or deal with solitude? 

A walk with my neighbours for a good chat, or a quiet dinner with my husband or friends.  

What’s your fantasy or biggest journey? 
Japan….for the cherry blossoms, the calm precision & the delicious food!!!  

What would your motto be? 
“It costs nothing to be kind but it’s worth everything.” 

What’s your favourite smell, word, book, and building? 

Smell: Eucalyptus
