Louise brings over 25 years’ experience working both within and alongside the not-for-profit sector, with senior roles across organisations including Irish Guide Dogs, Cork Autism (now Praxis Care), and FirstLight. She joined the Board of Yellow Harbour in 2017.
As Chief Operating Officer, Louise has been central to shaping Yellow Harbour’s growth, bringing clarity, structure, and a steady hand to the organisation’s development. She is widely respected within the sector and currently serves as Chairperson of The Cork Opera Society and as a Board member of Westgate Foundation.
An accomplished international singer, Louise recently took up tennis and fully expects to be representing Ireland in the coming years — she does not do anything in half-measures.
Louise holds a degree in Music and English from UCC, along with two Master’s degrees and a PhD in Musicology. She is currently completing a postgraduate qualification in Social Science.
David founded Yellow Harbour following a successful career in the commercial sector, working in the UK with Motorola, BT, and O2 before returning to Ireland.
With over 20 years’ experience in strategic planning and customer experience, David has played a key role in positioning Yellow Harbour as a trusted partner to not-for-profit organisations, particularly in grant writing and digital communications.
Alongside this, David leads a specialist team supporting charities with strategic planning, governance, and board development — ensuring organisations are not just funded but structured to grow.
Outside of work, David enjoys golf and tennis and is a committed — if slightly questionable — bridge player during the winter months. If time machines ever become a thing, he plans to test his chances as a professional golfer… with a fallback plan that definitely does not involve accountancy.
