In the past couple of months, The Rutland Centre has expanded its services by launching a new Outpatient Programme in Athlone, bringing treatment closer to home for more people in the Midlands. For many, distance and travel time are real barriers to seeking help.
This move means people can access support without stepping away from work, family, or daily life, making recovery more achievable and sustainable.
Alongside the opening of a new Detox Unit at their centre in Dublin, this marks a major step forward in the Centre’s capacity to support recovery across Ireland, offering more people a safe, medically supported first step into treatment, right when they need it most.
